Voice Acting + Syncing

VA SCRIPT  

- Simple script, minimal voice acting needed

- Wanted to commit and do it properly to enhance my animation

[GARRETT]  Is there nothin' else you can tell me? Cause I think you're holdin' back.

[MAXWELL]  I ain't sayin' nothin' else

[GARRETT]  Hm?

[GARRETT]  Shhh...

[BILLY] ¿Quién es?

[BILLY] ¿Quién es?

[GARRETT] *grunt*

[BILLY] *gasp*

MOUTH MOVEMENTS IN ANIMATION

- Used following chart to help articulate mouth movements during animation process

- Found most convincing way to animate was to make them in quick sequence

- Most scenes with voice in were animatic so syncing wasn't as important

- Animated the second ¿Quién es? quite slowly and didn't think about it until recording the dialogue

- Had to have actor watch the clip while speaking in order to sync up the audio
